Ziburi mountain

There are 108 temples, 108 burial platforms, 108 springs and 108 caves on the mountain. Ziburi holy mountain is regarded as a "holy mountain" by the local people. Ziburi mountain

Ziburi mountain is located in Dingri County of Shigatse area. The mountain extends from Dingri county to laodingri, about 55 kilometers long. The shape of the mountain is peculiar, changeable, magnificent and extraordinary.

There are ruins of a palace and fortress in the holy mountain of ziburi. The scale of the palace is quite grand, with high walls, arched gates, core palaces, temples and blockhouses. Historical legend

It is said that the mountain came from India and later wanted to fly away. So Sakyamuni nailed two wooden stakes in each corner of the mountain. Since then, ziburi mountain has settled down here. There are 108 temples, 108 burial platforms, 108 springs and 108 caves on the mountain.

Tourism information
