Su Gong pagoda (Xuzhou City) Su Gong pagoda is located on the Jinshan mountain on the East Bank of Yunlong Lake on the west side of Yunlong. Above the center of the pagoda gate are three gold-plated characters "Su Gong pagoda" inscribed by the famous modern calligrapher and painter Mr. Wei Tianchi. On the doorposts on both sides of the pagoda gate, there is a meaningful and refined couplet: "the wind blows the harp on the pagoda, the crane sounds like green willows, the sun and the moon move in front of the pavilion, and the tower shadow moves to yellow tower". Stepping into the tower, you can see 35 pieces of Su Dongpo's footprints inlaid around the snow-white wall, each 82 cm wide and 150 cm high, carved in marble. Its contents are "Su Mu Jiaozi", "Su Gong Haoran", "Chibi nostalgia" and so on. Among them, "Pengcheng flood fighting", "Shitan praying for rain", "drunken lying on the stone bed", "crane flying in the South", "Huanglou grand meeting", "white earth looking for charcoal" and so on are more than ten pieces, which vividly describe the scenes of Su Shi's hard work and life during his stay in Xuzhou. The picture is painted with gold on an ink base, the characters are vivid, and the landscape and trees set off properly. The painting of Su Dongpo's tracks was designed and carved by Yue Ximing, a famous stone carving artist in our city, for nearly a year.
