Luofeng Emerald

This scene is located at the junction of Luofeng and Shangyi villages, which is the highest peak of Luosi mountain in Guandu. There is a statutory temple on the top of the peak (see one of the six temples in Guandu). The temple was founded by Dali chieftains in Song Dynasty. The cypress trees around the temple form a forest with thick shade. Egrets, crows, magpies and birds often inhabit in the forest. The Bush is thick and quiet, and there are many trees in the forest. There are two persimmon gardens in the south, called "high pillow of persimmon garden", Luofeng village in the north, miaozhan temple and wenmingge ancient buildings in the East, and Tuzhu Temple (the most of the Eight Temples) in the southwest. Throughout the year, the scenery is attractive and the air is fresh. Before the Anti Japanese War, the original situation remained unchanged; after the war, all previous military arrests were banned. The surrounding trees were all cut down, so they were gradually abandoned, and the flocks of birds moved along with them. But so far, people still have a deep impression: in the era of Japanese aircraft bombing in Kunming, passers-by and some businessmen fled from the air raid here, and even Guandu street was temporarily moved to "evacuate" in this peak forest. It's a pity that the lush peaks of Luofeng for hundreds of years were destroyed by the war of resistance against Japan. Now the broken and bare peaks are expected to be replanted day and night in order to restore their reputation. The posterity wrote: "the ancient temple is covered by green cypresses and thick shade, the morning glow is bathed in luxuriant leaves and branches, the birds sing in the forest, and the shell of conch of conch of conch of conch of conch of conch of conch of conch of conch of conch of conch of conch of conch matches silver flower."
