Ancient trees

Among the ancient trees growing around Shenquan, two of the largest are Acer truncatum, which were listed in the list of ancient trees in Yunnan in 1996. The ancient trees are the guardians of the Naxi sacred spring. It is strictly forbidden to climb on the trees. If anyone breaks the rules, he will be severely punished by nature. Naxi people use this way to protect water and trees. Even the bees living on the maple have never been destroyed. They have lived on the sacred tree for many years. There are six round stone huts around the holy spring, which are used by Naxi people for dining in the wild after worshiping the natural God. Although we have made proper repairs to prevent wind and fire, the traditional use habits have not changed and remain unchanged.
