After the word line, Haining puqiao people. The descendants of Zhu Xi. After graduating from Jiaxing middle school, he entered the Sinology College run by Zhang Taiyan. He has been teaching in Taizhou, Jiaxing, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shanghai and other middle schools, universities and colleges.
Zhu's works include selected notes on Yuefu Poems, selected notes on essays of late Ming Dynasty, selected notes on Huang Zhongze's poems, epigraphy and notes on sun Guoting's books. In May 1952, Zhu's collection of more than 10000 books was donated to Zhejiang Library. On February 12, 1967, he died of cancer in Shanghai. Li Xingzhong's book donation history of Zhejiang Library contains his book donation process. The fourth issue of Xin Yuan, published by Haining Xu Bangda Art Museum in 2009, includes Zhu's preface to sun Guoting's book score and review of sun Guoting's book score.
