Jiyi Karst Cave Scenic Spot

Jiyi karst cave is located in Hongqiao Township, Ninglang County, Yunnan Province. It is a newly discovered large karst cave near Lugu Lake. The green Jiyi river flows eastward from the village entrance and Qingshan stream, just like a picture. Most of the people living in the village are Mosuo people. In the north of the village, there is a bridle. You can go up the ridge for several miles to reach the ancient karst cave. Jiyi cave is rich in landscape, very strange, spacious cave, stalactite forest, spectacular, can be called the underground labyrinth. The total length of the tunnel is more than 1 km, which is composed of main tunnel, upper tunnel and many branch tunnels. The highest part of the cave is more than 30 meters and the widest part is 20 meters. The front and back caves pass through a big mountain. The whole karst cave covers an area of 12 square kilometers and can accommodate thousands of people. About 400 meters away from the front cave, there is a clear spring gushing out all the year round, which is clear and can see swimming fish. Some are like chandeliers, some are like lions, some are like bodhisattvas. There are colorful stone flowers blooming beside the stone pillars, and the mythical "five hundred Arhats" and "eight King Kong" are shining. In the hall, there are stars all over the sky. There are all kinds of people, birds, animals, insects, fish, flowers and plants, with vivid shapes. Some of them are Turquoise brown, some are golden yellow, resplendent. Most of them are three-dimensional stone pillars, stalagmites, stone flowers or longer than the bottom of the cave, or hanging upside down in the air.
