Dalun mountain

Dalun mountain is the main peak in Tong'an District. It is undulating in layers and stretches for several miles. It looks like a rolling wheel, running and jumping, so it is named. Since ancient times, many beautiful sceneries have been formed, such as "Lunfeng Diecui", "Dongxi pagoda shadow", "holy spring", "poem sea homing", "Youyan Yuese", "Fansi bell", "green marsh lotus fragrance", "zhanting stone carving", etc., which are known as "lunshan eight sceneries". Hongyan, a great scholar in the past dynasties, often came to explore the secluded mountain climbing, recite in front of the wind, worship the Buddha, participate in Zen, splash ink and brush hair, leaving many beautiful articles and cliff stone carvings.

Transportation: there are many taxis in Xiamen, from noisy business districts to remote residential areas. The starting price of taxi is 8 yuan (3 km), and it will be 2 yuan per km later. 20% extra charge from 3:00 to 5:00 a.m. Generally, there are taxi stop signs not far from the bus shelter, and there are special taxi reception areas at the gates of larger shopping malls or shopping malls. Bus Xiamen bus is very developed. At present, there are more than 150 bus lines and more than 300 stops in Xiamen. Ferry, Xiamen University and railway station are the main bus departure stations. The bus service hours of urban special line are from 6:00 to 23:00. The bus is an unmanned ticket car, and tourists should bring their own change to get on the bus. In addition, there are minibuses with start stop names at the beginning of the bus. Passengers can be picked up at non fixed stops and places outside the restricted area (stop with a wave). The fare is accumulated from RMB 1 and paid according to the actual distance to the destination. The minibus is characterized by convenience and flexibility. The disadvantage is that it may wait for customers for a long time. Suburban buses and suburban buses are driven from Xiamen island to Jimei, Tong'an, Xinglin, Haicang and other places via Xiamen bridge. They can get on at the suburban bus station or railway station of Siming North Road and other bus stops, and charge according to the actual distance to the station.

Dalun mountain

Dalun mountain, behind the Fantian temple. Located 1 km to the east of Tong'an City, it is named because of the undulating mountains that run for several kilometers from Yingcheng mountain, which looks like a rolling wheel. The whole mountain is not high. It is only over 100 meters from the bottom to the top. There is a special climbing path. There are many cliff inscriptions on the mountain, with pavilions and wooden observation platforms at the top to view the scenery of Tong'an city.

Dalun mountain has beautiful scenery and many beautiful sceneries. Among them, the famous ones are "eight sceneries of lunshan mountain", including the emerald of Lunfeng, the return of xunhei, the lotus fragrance of green marsh, the shadow of Dongxi tower, the moonlight of Youyan, the bell of Fansi temple, the relic spring, and the stone toppling of zhanting. There are also 18 landscapes named after mountains, rocks, springs and forests: cold bamboo, wind pines, Qushui Liuqi, baby sucking milk, Maitreya's open stomach, Qilin spitting out books, Danfeng Chaoyang, toad spitting out smoke, golden turtle worshiping seal, cloud dragon spitting out fog, swan hatching eggs, inverted Golden Flower, five horse trailer, lotus towering, Guanyin sitting alone, rare turtle dragon and so on. Therefore, it has become a tourist attraction in Southern Fujian since ancient times.

Poets, celebrities and scholars of all ages came here to chant, leaving behind many poems, ink treasures and cliff carvings. Among them, the most famous one is song Zhuxi, who was the first governor of Tong'an county (equivalent to the Secretary General of the county). He wrote poems such as "visiting Fantian Temple" and "watching rain from Fantian". He left cliff stone carvings such as "cold bamboo wind pine", "battle Dragon pine", "zhanting" and "Guishi" in Dalun mountain. Due to the changes of the times, many scenic spots of Dalun mountain have been destroyed for a long time.

Thanks to the support of the government and the people, the huge sum of money allocated by the government in the past few years, and the willing donations of the faithful men and women, many scenic spots have been rebuilt and restored, making the scenic spots of that year reappear.

The main scenic spots of Dalun mountain are: Fantian temple, Brahman pagoda, Dalun Mountain Gate, Wengong academy, etc. Brahman pagoda is a provincial cultural relic protection unit. The three characters of "dalunshan" in the gate of dalunshan were written by Zhu Xi, a deputy scholar of Song Dynasty. Wengong academy, also known as Ziyang academy, is an official Academy. There are stone carvings of Zhu Xi and stone steles of the pavilion of Wengong library. In addition, there is the site of guoxingzhai, a lookout post built by Zheng Chenggong, a national hero, on the top of Dalun mountain.

history

Fantian temple at the south foot of Dalun mountain was founded in 581, the first year of kaihuang of Sui Dynasty. It was originally named Xingjiao temple, and is one of the earliest Buddhist temples in Fujian. Tang Xianheng years to form a scale, there are 72 large and small nunneries. Song Xining two years (1069) into a district, collectively referred to as "Fantian temple.". In 1354, it was destroyed by fire. In 1380, it was rebuilt by the abbot Wuwei. There are main halls and pavilions, such as Shanmen, Jingang hall, Tianwang hall, Daxiong hall and cangjing Pavilion. Miaoshi temple in Xiamen and riguangyan temple on Gulangyu Island are all its sub Zen temples.
