Zaoyang Baishui Temple scenic spot

Zaoyang Baishui Temple scenic spot is one of the "ten famous kings" in Chinese history. It is the memorial site of Emperor Guangwu Liu Xiu, the founder of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is praised as the place of "Long Fei Baishui" by Zhang Heng, a famous scientist of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is also the birthplace of "Guangwu Zhongxing". The scenic spot is only 2 kilometers away from the Zaoyang exit of Han Shi expressway, and it is an important cultural landscape on the exquisite route of Western Hubei ecological and cultural tourism circle.

There are more than 20 scenic spots in the area, such as Baishui Temple ancient buildings, Baishui stele corridor, Lihua flower garden, Guangwudi Temple group, jiuliandun Warring States tomb group and so on. The baishuisi ancient building complex has a history of more than 2000 years; the jiuliandun Warring States tomb complex, more than 2300 years ago, is a key cultural relic protection unit of the state. In 2002, 9081 valuable cultural relics were unearthed from tomb No.1, which was designated as one of the two major archaeological achievements of China in 2002; the newly built Guangwu emperor temple complex, covering an area of 3500 square meters, is a memorial and Research Center for the Han Dynasty Guangwu emperor Liu Xiu It's a landmark scenic spot of tourism. Every year, the traditional "March 3" temple fair Cultural Festival is unprecedented. It is a national AAA tourist scenic spot, a national key cultural relic protection unit and a provincial scenic spot in Hubei Province.
