Qingyuan Village

Qingyuan Village

Qingyuan village, the name of the village. Located 66 kilometers northeast of Wuyuan County. Qingyuan village was built in Guangde period of Tang Dynasty. Now there are more than 100 houses in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Because the powder walls are built with "369" blue bricks, it is said that "the house is collapsed with bricks, and the ancestral estate will last forever". The layout of the village foundation is in the shape of a catamaran, with a total length of 1 km. There are 16 stone slab bridges connecting the two sides. The streets and alleys in the village are paved with stones. Every forty or fifty steps, there are two steps to the river bank. Outside the village, there are three Ming Dynasty arch bridges, one of which has a shegong temple with two floors. At the mouth of the water, there are several stones, which are as big as two or three times of human beings. Next to them are two ancient pines. One pine tree can grow two kinds of leaves. There are more than 200 fruit trees in the village, including pears and jujubes, and one ginkgo tree stands by the river bank, with a height of 28 meters and a diameter at breast height of 2.04 meters. Looking far away at Qingyuan village, ginkgo trees are like sails in the wind.
