Zhongyuan Green Manor is located in the west of Puyang City, Henan Province, covering an area of 1087 mu. It is a large-scale natural ecological park integrating ecological protection, science and technology demonstration, sightseeing, vacation and other functions. The planned area is 72.46 hectares.

On December 5, 2016, the National Tourism Administration announced that the 4A scenic spot of Zhongyuan Green Manor was delisted.

Construction and operation

The first phase of Zhongyuan Green Manor project was started in March 1999. By the end of June 2000, the planned construction target was basically completed. The completed area is 46 hectares (700 mu). The investment in infrastructure and afforestation is 17 million yuan. Seven entertainment service projects were introduced, and the contract amount is 46.8 million yuan. It has initially formed a unique pastoral style with green as the main feature, beautiful ecology, and integrating the functions of garden appreciation, forest and fruit high-tech demonstration, recreation and vacation.

In July 2000, it officially received tourists. In October 2000, it was rated as "top ten tourist hot spots in Henan Province". In 2002, it was rated as "national AAAA tourist attraction". The annual tourist reception of Green Manor is 600000, and the daily maximum is 30000. It has won the honorary Titles of municipal civilized scenic spot, provincial advanced unit of tourism resource development and scenic spot management.
