Lijiang Wenbi mountain

Wenbi mountain scenic spot is a traditional religious Resort and tourist resort in Lijiang. It not only displays the magical charm of Lijiang's multi culture with mysterious Tibetan Buddhism, but also attracts the world with its extraordinary natural landscape. It not only has the famous temple, the spirit cave, the quiet sitting hall, the holy spring, the holy stone, the sannajia lake and other religious tourist attractions, but also maintains the natural good ancient landform and the forest vegetation, which is a modern tourist attraction.   

Wenbi mountain scenic spot is located in the southwest of Lijiang dam. It is called "fuluna" in the local language, which means "heiyinshi mountain". It is 4350 meters above sea level, echoing with Yulong Snow Mountain in the north. The mountain shape of writing brush is like a giant pen, pointing straight to the sky, tall and handsome, so it is named. The foot of Wenbi mountain is close to Wenbi sea, just like a pool of rippling blue ink. There is water in the mountain and the mountain is reflected in the water. The "pen" and "ink" are integrated and complement each other.   

Wenbi mountain scenic spot consists of 12 scenic spots, with Wenfeng temple as the main representative. Wenfeng temple is located in the hinterland of Wenbi mountain. It was first built in 1739, the fourth year of Qianlong reign. The four treasures of karmapagu (Baijiao) came to Lijiang and asked the magistrate to advocate the construction of the temple. It took five years to complete. Daoguang eight years (1828) rebuilt the hall, the Tibetan name "sannajia table forest.". It means "Lama Temple of Secret Religious holy land and happy land". Later, it was renamed Wenfeng temple. In the prosperous period of history, there were five courtyards of public housing and 24 monasteries of monks, with hundreds of monks.
