Development history

It is under the jurisdiction of Dananshan Overseas Chinese Administrative Region, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, and is located in Huilai County, Jieyang City.

Dananshan Overseas Chinese Management Zone, where the scenic spot is located, is formerly known as "Dananshan Overseas Chinese farm in Guangdong Province", which was founded in 1960. More than 3600 returned overseas Chinese from Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Singapore and other eight countries and regions have been resettled. The returned overseas Chinese brought the culture and customs of foreign countries and grafted with the culture and customs of Huilai in Chaoshan, forming a distinctive overseas Chinese culture.

In 2007, the tourism planning and Design Research Center of Guangdong Provincial Tourism Administration conducted an on-the-spot investigation and demonstration. According to the comparative advantages of the tourist belt, such as location advantages, cultural advantages and resource advantages, the planning is positioned as "eight nation style tourist resort".

The eight nation style tourist resort project in Danan mountain overseas Chinese area covers an area of 4000 mu. After construction in recent years, it has begun to take shape. It has built supporting facilities such as Singapore Merlion, Bali tourist center, Southeast Asian restaurant, Vietnamese tea garden, Brunei boat palace and club in the tourist area. It has planted continuous ornamental forest, eight nation tree species in Southeast Asia, continuous tea garden and 1000 mu of high-quality litchi Longan 500 mu, with food and accommodation, rest, viewing and other basic functions of tourism and vacation.

Here, visitors can not only see the characteristic landscapes of various Southeast Asian countries, taste the authentic Southeast Asian food such as gold medal roast chicken with Indonesian characteristics, fragrant fish head with Vietnamese characteristics, curry beef with Thai characteristics, but also enjoy the wonderful and charming folk customs, songs and dances of the eight countries.

Promotion to national 3A scenic spot

According to the Municipal Tourism Bureau, the eight nation style park of Danan mountain has been rated as the national 3A scenic spot by the Jieyang scenic spot quality rating committee, and has become the 11th National A-level scenic spot in our city.

It is understood that the eight nation style park is located in the overseas Chinese management zone of Dananshan, which is invested, constructed and operated by Guangdong Dananshan eight nation style tourist resort Co., Ltd. With an area of 300 mu, the eight nation style park has built cultural landscapes such as Thailand simian Buddha square, Singapore Merlion, Myanmar jade girl, Ruiqin lake and elephant paradise, as well as natural landscapes such as sightseeing tea garden, cherry blossom garden and four seasons orchard, supporting reception service facilities such as Southeast Asia Restaurant, Vietnam tea garden and Myanmar KANGYI garden, and cultivated a certain market-famous "litchi longan Festival" landscape The brand activity of the zone is a special cultural eco-tourism resort integrating sightseeing, recreation and catering. In 2014, the scenic spot was jointly rated as "Guangdong leisure agriculture and rural tourism demonstration site" by the Provincial Department of agriculture and the provincial tourism administration.
