Lakeside park

Xiaoxitian is a part of Jishui scenic area. In 1997, it was developed as a Lakeside Park. Because of its unique landscape, Maitreya Bodhisattva Taoist center has been built, which has injected many Buddhist and Taoist cultural elements into the park. On September 19, the opening ceremony of Guanyin Bodhisattva was held on Christmas day, giving it a new name - Shantang Cultural Park.

The Lakeside Park covers an area of 28.27 hectares, with verdant trees, colorful flowers, rippling lake water, curved bridges, pavilions and small pavilions, all of which embody the strong characteristics of water town. Tiejing building, a national key cultural relic, is preserved in the park. Tiejingzhuang is a tower shaped building cast in Song Dynasty. It was originally at the foot of Deshan mountain, but later moved to Binhu park.

Binhu park is located in the center of Changde City, with song Monument and other places of interest. The Tiejing building is built on a 1.42-meter-high stone block, which is in the shape of corset waist, and its edge is engraved with cloud lotus pattern. The building is made of white cast iron, cylindrical, big at the bottom and small at the top, 4.335m high, 0.9m in diameter at the bottom and 1520.8kg in weight. It is a wood like building. At the lower end, in addition to the reliefs and Buddha statues, there are also decorative patterns and animal patterns such as dragon and tiger. Because the Jingchuang is made of pig iron, which is rare in China, it is very precious and is a key cultural relic protection unit in China. The Song Dynasty stele was originally located in the former site of Qianming temple in Deshan. It was moved here in 1979. It is an important material to study the land system of feudal temples. Binhu park is the only large waterscape garden in the center of Changde City. Since the establishment of the park, the total investment of the government has exceeded 200 million yuan. There are many cultural and sketch landscapes in the park, such as Suolong stone, Sanguan Pavilion, stone arch bridge, etc.
