The highest rock dam is 4 meters, which is 1.5 meters higher than the highest rock dam known in China. It is the first discovery in China.

Development history

Xinshen cave is located in the North Bank of Jishui reservoir. It is the most representative, ornamental and research cave in the discovered Jishui cave group. The cave was developed in Cambrian limestone, about 500 million years ago. In 1998, British exploration experts went to a depth of 5100 meters and found no exit. It has been developed for 1300 meters and opened to the outside world for 1000 meters. It is known as the first grotesque cave in the world for nearly 100 grotesque karst caves and geological landscapes, such as "one unique, three unique and ten highlights". The geological structure of the cave and its surrounding area is complex, the stratigraphic structure is continuous, and the geomorphic features are clear. In 2000, it was determined as the "Earth Science Teaching and practice base" by Yangtze University, and is applying for the construction of a national geopark.

Main attractions

The system of the rock dam in the cave is complete, tall, spectacular and magnificent. The highest rock dam is 4 meters, which is 1.5 meters higher than the highest rock dam known in China. It is the first discovery in China. The "Tiangong curtain", "heaven and earth pillar" and "Thousand Buddha pagoda" in the "Tiangong stage" are grand and magnificent, which are rare and unique. The waterfall in the cave is 10 meters high and 8 meters wide. It flies straight down with water and rocks exciting each other. It is one of the few waterfalls in China.

New God cave unique: Tiangong curtain: 16 meters high, 27 meters wide. It is rare in China for its large area, neat four sides, flat curtain and majestic momentum. According to experts, it took more than 100 million years to form. All day long, the clear water flows down the screen from top to bottom. Under the illumination of colored lights, it is more magnificent. It reaches out to get close to the beauty of heaven and feels the magic of the creation of heaven and earth.

Xinshendong Sanqi: Yingbin waterfall: 10 meters high, 8 meters wide, flying in the air to welcome guests. The water temperature is still around 18 ℃ in spring, summer, autumn and winter. The edge stone dam (Liushi dam): a single edge stone dam is 4 meters high, with many, special and different shapes, which is the first discovery in China. The trapezoidal connection of several side stone dams forms the "vicissitudes" landscape, which makes people realize the truth of "one day in the cave, thousands of years in the world". The heaven and earth pillar is 18 meters high and 12 meters in circumference.
