Rupiyan temple was built by King Songzanganbu of France. It is said that the Buddha statues of Sakyamuni and his disciples in the temple were naturally created and later carved into relief by Nepalese craftsmen.

Rupiyan temple was built by King Songzanganbu of France. It is said that the Buddha statues of Sakyamuni and his disciples in the temple were naturally created and later carved into relief by Nepalese craftsmen. The prince was born in the nine story palace built by Princess Chizun of Nepal. Songzanganbu and his son lived here about 1300 years ago.

Puluyan temple is located on the hillside of Yaowang mountain opposite the red mountain where Potala Palace is located.

It is about 100 meters away from Potala Palace. The Buddha statue of Sakyamuni and the Dharma Prime Minister of songzangan are worshipped on the mountain.
