Weibaoshan Scenic Area

Weibaoshan, abbreviated as Weishan, is the birthplace of Nanzhao. Since the Tang Dynasty, it began to build Taoist temples, which flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, Taoist temples were all over the mountain, and it was one of the four famous Taoist mountains in China. Weibaoshan can be divided into two scenic spots: Front Mountain and back mountain. There are more than 30 scenic spots, such as xixinjian, yinsuquan, qixingjing, etc. Weibaoshan has also restored the Dongjing music recital and the Yi People's Song Festival, which makes the cultural heritage here more profound. In addition, in addition to the rich religious style created the "Weibao fairyland", the wonders of the mountains also form the famous eight scenic spots: Gongcheng overlooking, Tianmen Suosheng, Meimei Zhanyun, Longchi Qiuyue, Shancha Liuhong, Helou ancient plum, Chaoyang Yuhe, Gudong Changchun.

Transportation information: Shuttle Bus: Xiaguan can take a shuttle bus to Weishan County. The county is about 14 kilometers away from the Mountain Gate of Weibaoshan. You can take a minibus. The ticket price is 12-16 yuan.

Charter: you can charter a car in Xiaguan to Weishan County, and transfer a motorcycle. Weishan County has a lot of motor tricycles, which can seat four people. The cost of going up the mountain can be cut down to 25 yuan.

Self driving: after you get off the highway at the exit of hangrui Dali, turn right at the first intersection, and then turn right again. That's the second-class highway to Weishan. It'll be there in an hour.
