Xingqing Palace Park Playground

Xingqing Palace Park playground is located on Xianning road in the southeast corner of the ancient capital Xi'an city wall. It was built on the site of Xingqing palace of Tang Dynasty. The park is the oldest historical and Cultural Heritage Park in China, and is located in the north of Xi'an Jiaotong University.

Introduction to scenic spots

Xingqing palace is located in the Xingqing square (Longqing Square) in Waiguo city of Chang'an, the capital of the Tang Dynasty. It used to be the old house of Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. In the first year of Xiantian (712 AD), Li Longji ascended the throne of emperor, and in the second year of Kaiyuan (714 AD), he changed the old house into Xingqing palace. Xingqing palace in Tang Dynasty has been expanded, covering an area of 2016 mu. Today's Xingqing Park covers an area of 780 mu, and Xingqing lake covers an area of 150 mu. Xingqing Palace Park has become a comprehensive high-end scenic spot integrating culture, leisure, entertainment, fitness and other functions, and is the largest urban public park in Xi'an.
