Shaoxing Xinchang Chongyang Palace

Located in Chuanyan 19feng scenic spot, Chongyang palace scenic spot is composed of "Tongling Jinmiao district", "Taiqing courtyard", "Yuelao Temple" and "Taoist Culture Health garden". It is the first Taoist temple open to the outside world in Shaoxing City and one of the largest Taoist temples in Zhejiang Province. At the beginning of Kaiyuan (713-741) in Tang Dynasty, Wu Yun, a famous Taoist scholar of China and the 12th generation of the Shangqing school, once married Chongyang thatched cottage in Guizhu Valley and lived together in seclusion with Li Bai, the 15th generation of the Shangqing school and the immortal of poetry. It was regarded as the tenth cave by Taoism, because it belongs to the Kuaiji mountains, so it was called Kuaiji cave. In the ninth year of Kaiyuan, Sima Chengzhen, the 12th generation master of Shangqing school, was summoned to Jinjing to visit Wu Yun in vain. At this time, he felt regretful and left the ruins of regret mountain and regret bridge. He was also regarded as the 60th blessed place by Taoism.

Due to the vicissitudes of time, Chongyang thatched cottage has long been obliterated, and the ancient Taoist philosophy has been lost. At the beginning of the new century, in order to excavate and inherit the Taoist culture and cooperate with the shooting of "heroes of God" by CCTV, Xinchang County Landscape Tourism Development Co., Ltd. invested in the construction of this palace on the former site of Chongyang cottage, so that this "immortal cave house" can reproduce the mysterious style of the cave, which can be described as a victory in the golden age.

Introduction to scenic spots

Chongyang palace is divided into four parts: it is composed of "Tongling Jinmiao district", "Taiqing courtyard", "Yuelao Temple" and "Taoist Culture Health garden".

1、 Channeling into the wonderful area: along the main tour line, it is composed of Zhaobi, gate of the wonderful, Wenchang Pavilion, two holy halls, laodantu, Zhuoying Pavilion and gate of seeing stars. "Knowing the way and establishing virtue" dissolves Confucianism and Taoism in one furnace.

2、 Taiqing courtyard: built according to the situation of the mountain, on the central axis are Lingguan hall, Sanqing hall, Sanhuang hall, and shengxiantai. There are bell tower and Drum Tower on the left and right of the axis. On the west side, there are Sanguan hall, Cihang hall and Sanyang hall; on the east side, there are Caishen hall, Tianyi hall and transfer hall.

3、 Yuelao Temple: Hongxi hall and its supporting facilities, Sanxiao Niangniang hall. The pavilion under it is planned to build a sacrificial altar, which can be used for fasting and praying on festivals, and for practicing martial arts at ordinary times. In front of the altar, endless water comes from the East and is stored as "Yuqing pool".

4、 Taoist Culture Health Garden: located in the deep valley of Shangyuan of "yuqingchi", it is planned to restore Shangqing temple to worship Wu Yun, Sima Chengzhen, Ziyang immortal and other Shangqing sects and Nanzong immortal on the site of Chongyang cottage. Yangzhen hall is to be built on the side of Shangqing temple, which is a place for cultivating immortals, cultivating truth and keeping health.
