Guanyu temple is located on the inner ring road south of the South Gate of Jingzhou Ancient City. It was originally built on a mound of earth in the southwest of Jingzhou City. The south side is close to the brick wall, and the East, West and north sides of the platform base are integrated with the earth city wall. Its founding date is unknown. However, it has been found in Jiangling Zhiyu, which was compiled from 1640 to 1653.

2. The 33 stone steps in front of the main hall of Guanyu temple are called TIANTI. Originated from the folklore of "opening the gate of heaven on March 3" and the historical story of "three mountains without mountains" (Songjia mountain, Jiejia mountain and tiaojia mountain) in Jingzhou city wall, it means to ascend the 33 steps of the ladder, and then one step of one's life.

3. In the main hall, there are statues of Guan Gong sitting and his eldest son Guan Ping and second son Guan Xing standing. In the statue, Guan gongtou wears a Han scarf, a Han robe, his left hand stroking his beard, and his right hand making a "free gift" shape, which highlights Guan Gong's kind and kind-hearted image as an elder. It is a unique creation in China and even in the world.

4. The huge plaque on the front of the rear hall is engraved with the full text of the biography of Guan Yu in the annals of the Three Kingdoms by Chen Shou.

5. The bronze statue of Guan Gong and the Standing Statue of Guan Gong on the second floor of the main hall of sand table are 1.8 meters high. They are the treasures donated to Guan Yu Temple by Liu Xiangjiang and Sun Ping. The sand table in front of the bronze statue is the only one in China to show the whereabouts of Guan Gong.

6. Xianghe Hall (east side hall) the statue of Guan Gong's family of four generations and nine members in Xianghe hall is the first and only initiative in the world to place the statue of Guan Gong's family in the same hall, which shows people's good wishes for auspicious, harmonious and happy life.

7. Chengxin Hall (west side hall) the head portraits of Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun and Zhuge Liang are made in Chengxin hall. The five of them are honest and devoted their whole lives to fulfill their promises. The honest containers in the hall can be picked up and paid in good faith. This is a unique initiative of national tourist sites.

8. On the back of the jiejiashan stone tablet beside the Xianghe hall, there is an inscription, which is held up by the thousand year old tortoise and shows the world a new look of the thousand year old temple.

9. The statue of Guan Gong standing in the square is next to the hall of integrity. The statue of Guan Gong standing in granite sculpture is 4.8 meters high. Guan Gong faces the East and looks far away with a knife. It seems to be telling "I'm back"!

10. The legend of brother tree the two NANs behind the statue of Guan Gong are like brothers. They share the same root and flourish. Although they have gone through the vicissitudes of life, they still stand on Mount Jiejia. Tourists can hang a wishful lock under this green ancient tree and pray for Guan Gong to protect you and your family for the best of everything.

11. Guanyu memorial hall the establishment of Guanyu Memorial Hall originates from the concept of "Confucianism as sage, Buddhism as Buddha and Taoism as heaven", which embodies the rich connotation of Guangong culture.
