The real name of Pozi house is actually "home of the poor". It was built more than 100 years ago and belongs to the property of mercy hall in Macao. It is located at the end of the inclined lane of Wangde hall and crazy hall in the old district of Macao, next to the current social security fund. During the Japanese invasion of China in World War II, a large number of Portuguese from Shanghai had difficulty coming to Macao. Pozai house became a special place for refugees and the poor, and later became a women's home for the elderly. Structural layout

After the return of Macao, the old women moved to the new homes for the elderly, and the old women's houses were temporarily vacant. In its heyday, there were more than 100 residents in Pozi house, but before the relocation, only 52 people lived in Pozi house for a long time. The existing area of Pozi house art space is about 1300 square meters. It consists of two old Portuguese two-story buildings across the courtyard, with 32 rooms of about 16 square meters in size. These rooms are now used for exhibitions and different art studios, including cloth dyeing workshop and children's art play room , Ceramic Studio (drawing room, hand sculpture room, etc.) regularly hold various art workshops including children's and adults' participation, while Pozi study and Pozi music room provide art books, magazines and alternative music CDs from all over the world for collection, and local art data room will collect and display local art data to promote local art works The author.

There are two old camphor trees in the courtyard. The strong branches connect the two buildings together. The lush shade makes the courtyard a good place for tourists to rest. There is a popular "coffee journey" (tea house) on weekends. The courtyard is also a place for outdoor concerts and movie shows.

There is a small house between the two buildings. Fifty years ago, it was a mortuary. At that time, there were not many hospitals in Macao. The funeral ceremony was held in this small bungalow when the residents of Pozi house died. Later, the mortuary was transformed into a dining hall for mothers in law. Now, it is transformed into an exhibition hall with an area of 53.4 square meters. It can also be used as a place for lectures and film screening.

In June 1984, pozai house was rated as a protected cultural relic by the Cultural Bureau.
