Xiamen Wutong lighthouse park is located in the coastal area of Wutong section of Huandao East Road. This beautiful lighthouse is actually the ventilation tower of Xiang'an Subsea Tunnel. Wutong lighthouse park, Xiamen Wutong lighthouse park, is located in the coastal zone of Wutong section of Huandao East Road, Huli District, Xiamen city. It was started on January 4, 2012. It is formed by integrating the ventilation tower at Wutong side of Xiang'an Tunnel with the spoil area and the green belt of Huandao East Road, covering an area of 13.2 hectares. The theme of the park construction is lighthouse, which integrates the cultural background of Wutong ancient wharf, combines with the existing mountain geographical characteristics, and adapts measures to local conditions.

Situation in the park

Xiamen Wutong lighthouse park is built with sand and gravel excavated from Xiang'an Tunnel. It is integrated with the ventilation tower on the side of Xiang'an Tunnel, the spoil area and the green belt of Huandao East Road. The project construction takes the lighthouse as the theme and integrates the cultural background of Wutong ancient wharf. The Wutong lighthouse in the park is more than 70 meters high, so it has become a landmark building in the east of Xiamen.

The park is built with sand and gravel excavated from the Xiang'an Tunnel, reflecting the advanced concept of ecological and environmental protection. "If we want to transport these sand and gravel, it will cost at least tens of millions of yuan.".

The completion of Wutong lighthouse park has completed the great change from tunnel spoil ground to mountain park. It has also completed the construction of Xiang'an Tunnel Supporting project, greatly improved the surrounding environment landscape, and facilitated the community people's leisure and fitness entertainment.

The Wutong lighthouse in the park is built to meet the ventilation needs of Xiang'an Tunnel, but due to its towering architectural shape and superior geographical location, it not only has the ventilation function, but also integrates the navigation and navigation functions of navigation aids. About 16000 trees and 11 hectares of shrubs and ground cover have been planted in the park. There are 10 world-famous lighthouse reliefs on the lighthouse base platform, and 30 world-famous lighthouse reliefs on both sides of Lighthouse Avenue.

In the park, you can see a columnar red top lighthouse standing high. You can see its majestic posture from a long distance. The four big red characters "five links Lighthouse" on the lighthouse are also very eye-catching. Walking along the straight lighthouse avenue to the lighthouse, exquisite sculpture platforms are distributed in the green belts on both sides of the road. Each sculpture platform shows a world-famous lighthouse in the form of shadow sculpture, and also engraves the name of the lighthouse, the country where it is located, the height and the reason for its construction. Approaching the lighthouse, we can see 10 meaningful reliefs engraved on the base platform, respectively showing the world's most famous lighthouses: China's Naozhou lighthouse, Taiwan's yuweng Island Lighthouse, Thailand's pontia Cape Lighthouse, Egypt's Alexandria lighthouse, Spain's ekules lighthouse, South Africa's Cape of good hope lighthouse, the United States' dove Point Lighthouse, Argentina's Tierra del Fuego lighthouse , Madang lighthouse in Papua New Guinea, Yokohama lookout lighthouse in Japan.

Ten world-famous lighthouse reliefs are arranged on the lighthouse base platform, and 30 world-famous lighthouse sculpture platforms are arranged on both sides of Lighthouse Avenue.

This great lighthouse is actually the air vent of Xiang'an Tunnel. With the ingenious conception of the designer, it was built into a lighthouse, which echoes the characteristics of Xiamen Port scenic city. The park also displays the lighthouses with characteristics all over the world in the form of sculpture and other art forms, forming a unique lighthouse culture.
