Dishui old street is located on the Bank of Xiangjiang River in Maozhu town. It is a building complex in late Ming and early Qing Dynasty. The street is more than 400 meters long, and shops on both sides are separated by horse head walls. The street is 2.5 meters wide and paved with square bluestone slabs. The street is built with green stones, neat and uniform. Outside the stone is a eaves gutter, which is also paved with bluestone slabs. Every other distance, set a Qingshi rain well, the rain does not overflow. There are gates at both ends of the street, and the stump, top and mortise of the gate still exist. Green brick, Dai WA, Ma Tou wall, and green stone slab, which have experienced the vicissitudes of history, are even more rugged, ancient and clumsy. Behind the street is Houzi ridge on the right bank of the Xiangjiang River, with steep cliffs. Dishui wharf lies at the corner of the street, where boats occasionally park. Tianchou on the other side of the street is surrounded by the Xiangjiang River to form a Pipa shaped peninsula. The green trees are reflected in the clear blue waves, just like an emerald pipa. Not far from the southwest Street entrance is Dishuiyan. The branch cave is circuitous and winding. Although it is not as deep as Guilin Karst cave, it is not inferior to Guilin Karst cave. Walking into the old street, you can still imagine the scene of merchants gathering, shops swarming, people roaring and flourishing. The film autumn scenery of hometown, the TV series Young Mao Zedong and the story of Tao Zhu were shot here. In May 2003, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit in Yongzhou City.
