Sanxi Reservoir

Sanxi Reservoir is located in panshouling, Xishan village, Jiangtian town. It was built in April 1958 and completed in October 1959. 2.82 million yuan was invested, 1.198 million working days were invested, and 649400 cubic meters of earthwork were completed. The rainwater collection area is 40 square kilometers, and the total reservoir capacity is 10.72 million cubic meters, including 1.99 million cubic meters of flood prevention reservoir and 8.43 million cubic meters of Xingli reservoir. It mainly focuses on irrigation, combined with flood control, power generation, fish culture and drinking water. The irrigation area is 28000 mu; the total installed capacity of Bahou hydropower station is 1490 kW, with an annual power generation of 2.5 million kwh; and the fish culture area is 700 mu.

Reservoir hub

The main dam of the reservoir is a mixed dam with clay core wall, 34 meters high and 220 meters long, with crest elevation of 50.6 meters, crest width of 7 meters and crest elevation of 51.2 meters. The auxiliary dam is a homogeneous earth dam with a height of 21.7M, a length of 150m, a crest elevation of 51.2m and a crest elevation of 52m. The spillway is a wide crest weir, and the gate is an arc-shaped steel structure. The net width of the double hole is 20 meters (the width of a single hole is 10 meters), and the height is 5 meters. The weir crest elevation is 42.5 meters, and the maximum discharge capacity is 849 cubic meters per second. The self overflow extraordinary spillway has a weir crest elevation of 47 meters, a net width of 16 meters, and the maximum discharge capacity is 160 cubic meters per second. Penstocks are installed in the culvert, with a diameter of 100 cm and a flow rate of 3.5 cubic meters per second.

hydropower station

Sanxi Reservoir was built in 1959. Sanxi hydropower station was built in 1964 with an installed capacity of 600 kW and an annual power generation capacity of 1.5 million kwh. The total cost is 450000 yuan. It is a state-owned power station and was connected to the grid in 1978. Bahou power station was built in 1983 and put into operation in 1985, with a total installed capacity of 2 sets of 400 kilowatts and annual power generation of about 1 million kilowatt hours. It is a state-owned power station and is connected to the grid at the same period. In 1986, the unit of the power station was rebuilt, and two 200 kW motors were replaced by 320 kW motors, with a total installed capacity of 840 kW. In 1990, Sanxi Reservoir Management Office and the Provincial Department of hydropower jointly built the flood gate power station, which was shut down due to unqualified mechanical equipment.
