Zhangsong village, located in the northwest of Lanhe Town, 6.5km away from the central town, is a shouman village with a population of 1858 (including 1298 labors). In 2009, the gross value of industry and agriculture was 4966 yuan, the total income of village collective economy was 390000 yuan, and the per capita income was 11261 yuan. Our village has 1961 mu of cultivated land, including 383 mu of rice, 105 mu of fruit cane, 110 mu of vegetables, 238 mu of banana, 140 mu of flowers, 970 mu of fish pond, and 15 mu of other crops. The main income of villagers is planting fruit cane, vegetables, plantain and fish pond.

Zhangsong village is located in the northwest of Lanhe Town, once known as "three villages", with a total area of about 1.2 square kilometers, including 1650 mu of arable land, adjacent to gangang village and Basha village, surrounded by water on three sides, and across the river from Lunjiao town in Shunde, Shawan Town in Panyu District, and Bamei village in Lanhe town. It is about 6.5km away from the town government. The registered residence of the village is about 1930, a total of 690, with 40 migrants and 69 party members, and 7 production teams. Zhangsong village and Bamei village were jointly managed by Qianhai Township in 1958. In the 1960s, Zhangsong village was divided into two groups (Shanghe village and Xiahe Village). About three years later, it was merged into "three villages", and in the 1990s, it was renamed "Zhangsong village".

The famous place in the village is huoshaotou, the former site of the revolution. The characteristic agricultural products include dwarf melon and sugarcane. The key enterprises include Qiangjie hardware and Plastic Co., Ltd. and Jietai hardware and Plastic Co., Ltd. and the projects under construction include the land acquisition and resettlement project of Shifu high voltage line.

In 2013, the total agricultural output value of the village was about 31 million yuan, and the per capita disposable income of farmers was about 14500 yuan. The main sources of income were planting bananas, sugarcane and other agricultural and sideline products, breeding four big fish and going out to work.
