Xiamen Institute of technology, founded in 1981, is located in Xiamen, a coastal city in Southeast China. It is a public undergraduate university in Fujian Province and a key construction university in Fujian Province. Lujiang Vocational University is a full-time vocational and Technical University in Fujian Province. In 2003, we planned to upgrade to undergraduate and try to recruit 7 majors. In 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of education, we upgraded to undergraduate and renamed Xiamen Institute of technology. The university is one of more than 100 universities in the second batch of "excellent engineer education and training plan" of the Ministry of education
