Sanzhou Township
Sanzhou Township, located in the northwest of Tiantai County, is a mountainous Township with nine mountains, half water and half farmland. It is named after its location at the junction of Taizhou, Jinhua (Wuzhou) and Shaoxing (Yuezhou). It is adjacent to Changzheng township of Xinchang County in the East, Jianshan town of Pan'an County in the West and Huishan town of Xinchang County in the north, with an average altitude of 400 meters. The township covers an area of 44.5 square kilometers (2017) and has a population of 6624 (2017).
Main industry: tea. Tea is the pillar industry of Sanzhou township. Tea farmers affectionately call it "golden leaf". There are 12000 mu tea gardens in the township. at present, the township has formed five leading industries, including mountain tea, mountain fruits and vegetables, bamboo shoots, Chinese herbal medicine, and piglet breeding. The three prefectures are becoming a "cornucopia" for the development of mountain characteristic agriculture. Scenic spots and historic sites: anding mountain, Sanzhou lake, bell and Drum Tower, Tianlong temple.
