Leshan rock hewn tomb
In shiziwan, Mahao, Xiaoba, yunzhendong, Cheche and other places on the outskirts of Leshan City, Sichuan Province. From the Eastern Han Dynasty to the southern and Northern Dynasties, a kind of tomb popular in Sichuan today was called "Manzi cave" by predecessors.
Most of the rock tombs in Sichuan are in Leshan City. The rock curtain is chiseled from natural rocks, which is as spacious as a room. It is staggered in height, difficult to climb high, and buried underground low. The big one is about 90 meters deep, and the small one is about 6 meters deep. Some of the rock tombs still have inscriptions. In the xiangbizui Tomb of Taizi cave in Xiaoba, there is a table of the tomb of March 10, the second year of Yanxi (159 A.D.) in the Eastern Han Dynasty. On the wall of monk Chong, there is a table of the tomb of Jianhe in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Other tombs also have similar inscriptions. Relief sculptures inside and outside the tomb have various themes. There are pictures of stopping to say goodbye, going to drink, sun shuao's story, Lao laizi's entertaining relatives, Jing Ke's assassinating the king of Qin, Lishi's bowing, ape music and bear music, horse herding and riding. The carving is simple, vigorous, lifelike and thought-provoking.
