Dengyun Bridge

Dengyun bridge is located in Wenzhou City. It was built by Liu Tong in the Zhengde period of Ming Dynasty. It crosses over the Taishou river. It is an important traffic route from the southwest of Taishun to Shouning.

During the Zhengde period of Ming Dynasty, Liu Tong, the county magistrate, presided over the construction of the bridge. During the Wanli period, the county magistrate ordered the reconstruction of Dengyun, so it was named Dengyun bridge. Because it is located in the South Gate of the county, also known as Zhennan bridge, commonly known as Nanmen bridge.

The single eaves of the whole bridge are shaped in a straight line, with simple shape. Although it has been rebuilt many times, it still retains the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty.
