Hongshan College of Nanjing University of Finance and economics is a private undergraduate college established in 1999 with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial Department of education. In 2005, it became an independent college of national general higher education with the approval of the Ministry of education. Relying on the discipline and professional advantages of Nanjing University of Finance and economics, the college adheres to the school running philosophy of education oriented, improving quality, strengthening characteristics, reform and innovation, and serving the society, and cultivates applied and technical talents of economics, management, law, literature, etc. for local economic construction and social development. Upon the completion of their studies, they meet the conditions for graduation and bachelor's degree awarding and are awarded the graduation certificate and degree certificate of Hongshan College of Nanjing University of Finance and economics in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of education and Jiangsu Province. The employment of graduates shall be carried out in accordance with national policies.

At present, the college has more than 8000 full-time undergraduates, including five departments, namely, Department of international economy and trade, Department of Finance and taxation, Department of accounting, Department of business administration and Department of law and culture, as well as international economy and trade, trade economy, law, English, marketing, accounting, auditing, human resource management, finance, insurance, taxation, business administration, financial management, e-commerce and logistics 15 undergraduate majors, such as flow management. The full-time teachers of the college combine the school sent teachers, self owned teachers and external teachers, insist on recruiting senior professional title teachers with high academic level and rich teaching experience as department and professional leaders, insist on cultivating excellent young and middle-aged backbone teachers as the main body of teaching, and build a high-quality teaching team with an open and diversified personnel management system.

Qiaotou campus is located in Qiaotou town, Zhenjiang City, about 25 kilometers away from Xianlin University City, Nanjing, covering an area of 1050 Mu and a construction area of 150000 square meters. The campus has beautiful scenery, elegant environment, complete teaching and living facilities. The dormitory is equipped with air conditioning, water heater, laundry room, a number of voice labs, student rooms and multimedia classrooms. The library has a collection of 220000 books and is equipped with electronic retrieval and reading equipment. The college has the corresponding cultural and sports facilities such as the standard track and field field field, basketball court and sports hall for provincial large-scale sports competitions, which is an ideal place for further study. Fujian Road Campus is located at 128 Railway North Street, Gulou District, Nanjing City, covering an area of 220 mu, with a construction area of 180000 square meters and a library collection of 710000 books. The first and second year students study in Qiaotou campus, and the third and fourth year students study in Fujian Road Campus.

Excellent students of all majors in the college can apply for transfer of majors in the second semester of grade one according to their own interests and wishes. Those who have an average GPA of 3.0 (weighted average score of 80 points) or above in compulsory courses at the end of grade one and are in the top 20% of the original professional grade, and meet the basic requirements of relevant majors, will be transferred to the newly selected majors from grade two.

Our college implements the open training for the students who are admitted to various majors of Economics (international economy and trade, trade economy, finance, insurance, taxation). Students can apply for changing majors in economics according to their own interests and wishes in the second semester of grade one. The average GPA of compulsory courses at the end of one year is above 2.5 (weighted average score 75 points, the same below) and ranks first Among the top 60%, those who meet the basic requirements of relevant majors will be transferred to the newly selected majors from the second grade within the number of majors. For the students who are admitted to various majors of management (accounting, financial management, auditing, business administration, human resource management, marketing, logistics management, e-commerce), they can apply for transfer in the second semester of the first year according to their own interests and wishes. The average GPA of compulsory courses at the end of the first year is above 2.5 and ranks in the top 6 0%, those who meet the basic requirements of relevant majors will be transferred to the newly selected majors from the second grade within the number of majors.
