Zaozhuang College is located in Shizhong District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province. In 1984, Zaozhuang normal college was established with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's government. In May 2004, Zaozhuang College was transformed into a full-time regular undergraduate college with the approval of the Ministry of education. It was renamed Zaozhuang College. It implements the management system of provincial and municipal co construction and province based. Mr. Wang zikun, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, famous mathematician and doctoral supervisor, former president of Beijing Normal University, and Mr. Yao Jianquan, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, laser and optoelectronic scientist, professor and doctoral supervisor of School of precision instruments and optoelectronic engineering of Tianjin University, are specially appointed as honorary president of the University.
