Guangling College of Yangzhou University

Guangling College of Yangzhou University is a public private secondary college at undergraduate level approved by the former Jiangsu Provincial Education Commission in December 1998. It was established as an independent college with the approval of the Ministry of education in May 2008.

The college is located in the core area of Yangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone and Yangzhou high tech Industrial Development Zone. The campus covers an area of more than 800 mu, surrounded by water on three sides. It adopts garden layout, with prominent center, elegant environment, harmonious landscape, harmonious coexistence between human and nature, complete teaching facilities, advanced experimental equipment, rich book resources and perfect campus network. It is an intelligent, garden, ecological, open and humanistic green campus.

The college fully relies on Yangzhou University, and fully shares the high-quality education and teaching resources of Yangzhou University in the aspects of specialty construction, teaching staff, books and materials, teaching and experimental facilities. At present, the college has 34 undergraduate majors with more than 9800 students. Since the enrollment in 1999, the college has always adhered to the school running philosophy of "people-oriented, mechanism innovation, quality and efficiency, and distinctive characteristics". More than ten graduates have been welcomed by employers, and many outstanding alumni have emerged. While they have made contributions in their respective positions, they have also added luster to the college. The employment rate of college graduates has been maintained at more than 97%.

The college adheres to strict management, forming a student education management feature of strict management and humanistic care, service-oriented and cultural influence. Students are encouraged to participate in practice, and 48 associations are organized by students themselves. There are a number of innovation and entrepreneurship funds such as "college students entrepreneurship incubation fund", "Aiwen entrepreneurship fund", "Yangjie electronic innovation fund", which provide a good platform for students to carry out scientific and technological innovation activities, participate in entrepreneurial practice and participate in various competitions.
