Taizhou University is a comprehensive university approved by the Ministry of education and jointly managed by Zhejiang Province and Taizhou city. It has a long history of running a school. Its predecessor is Taizhou Teachers College, which was established in 1978 with the approval of the State Council. Its source of running a school can be traced back to 1907.
