Jiaxing University is an ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of education in March 2000, which is a combination of the former Zhejiang Economic College and Jiaxing College. It implements the management system of "co construction and co management of provinces and cities, with the province as the main body". Since then, Pinghu normal school, Jiaxing health school, Zhejiang accounting school and Jiaxing grain cadre school have been merged. Zhejiang Economic College was founded in 1914. The school has three campuses, Yuexiu, lianglin and Pinghu, with an area of more than 1800 Mu and a building area of 620000 square meters.
