Hunan Jiuyi vocational and Technical College

Hunan Jiuyi vocational and technical college is a full-time ordinary college approved by the people's Government of Hunan Province and registered by the Ministry of education. It was founded in 1980 and merged with Hunan Xiaoxiang Technician College in 2008. The resources of the two colleges are integrated, the school strength is stronger, and the specialty construction is more characteristic. It is the first multi-level, multi form and multi-functional high-tech college in Hunan Province It is a base for talent education and training.

Hunan Jiuyi vocational and technical college is developed on the basis of Jiuyi Mountain College. In 1980, Professor Le Tianyu, a former member of the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China, the first president of Beijing Agricultural University, a famous agroforestry scientist and educator, raised funds to establish "Jiuyishan College" in Ningyuan County, his hometown. He is the first private university since the founding of new China. Professor Le Tianyu is the chairman and President of the college. The older generation of proletarian revolutionaries such as Xiao Ke, Wang Shoudao, Li Weihan, Zeng San and famous scientists Qian Xuesen and Zhou Peiyuan gave strong support. General Xiao Ke visited the college twice and inscribed its name. In 1989, Jiuyishan college was renamed as Lingling Jiuyishan college. In March 2005, with the approval of the provincial people's government, Hunan Jiuyi vocational and technical college was officially established, which is a full-time higher vocational college with junior college level and nationwide enrollment plan.

The college is located in Yongzhou, a famous historical and cultural city in Hunan Province. It is located on the Bank of Xiangjiang River, adjacent to Guangdong and Guangxi, and close to Hunan Guangxi railway, Luoyang Zhanjiang railway, Hengzao expressway, Guangdong and Guangxi Expressway and Lingling airport. The water, land and air transportation is very convenient.

The college has a double qualified teaching staff with excellent quality, full of vigor and vitality, rich theoretical knowledge and strong practical ability. At present, there are 368 teaching staff, including 296 full-time teachers, 146 senior and above professional titles, 138 intermediate professional titles and 192 double qualified teachers.

The college is employment oriented and close to the needs of the market. It has set up more than 10 teaching departments and more than 30 majors, including mechanical engineering department, electrical engineering department, information engineering department, fashion design and Technology Department, automobile engineering department, medical health care department, modern art design and animation department, management department and basic education department. The employment rate of college graduates has been stable at over 98% for many years.
