Anhui Sports Vocational and Technical College

Anhui Sports Vocational and technical college is the only provincial full-time college of physical education in Anhui Province, which is subordinate to Anhui Provincial Sports Bureau.

Anhui Sports School, the predecessor of the college, was founded in 1954, which is the first batch of sports secondary schools in China. Over the past 50 years, with the development of the situation, the school has gone through several changes. The 2001 annual report was approved by the people's Government of Anhui Province to establish Anhui Sports Vocational and technical college.

The school running goal of the college is to cultivate high-level sports reserve talents, cultivate "elite" competitive sports talents, and train all kinds of practical skilled talents related to the sports industry.

The editorial board of Anhui Province approved the establishment of 278 colleges. At present, there are 251 teaching staff and 101 retired. Among the professional and technical personnel, there are 61 senior professional titles, 76 intermediate professional titles and 63 junior professional titles.

The college has 7 Party and government management organizations: Office (Party Committee Office), personnel department (joint office with discipline inspection and supervision office), training and competition department, teaching and scientific research department, student work department, financial department, security department, 6 teaching organizations (five departments and one department): sports training Department 1 (Anhui Sports School, technical secondary school), sports training department 2 (provincial competitive sports management center) ）Three departments of sports training (provincial gymnastics and fencing Management Center), social sports department, physical education management department, basic department, two teaching auxiliary institutions: Book audio-visual education center, training center, one logistics service institution: logistics service center, one mass organization: trade union.

In terms of specialty setting, our hospital has eight specialties (directions) including sports training, physical education, social sports, rehabilitation treatment technology, security, sports service and management, sports dance and aerobics, and martial arts. Among them, the sports training major is approved as the provincial model major by the Provincial Department of education, ranking second to none in the province's higher vocational colleges. In addition, there are "3 + 2" five-year sports training major; physical education and sports training major of Adult Education (cooperative school running); postgraduate courses (physical education and training major) (cooperative school running) and affiliated primary schools. It has more than 3000 students.

In 2007, the college began to build a new campus covering an area of 700 mu. By the end of 2008, it has built a brand-new office building, teaching building, experimental building, library, special sports stadium, student apartment, student activity center, student and other teaching and auxiliary facilities. The school running conditions have been greatly changed, and the second phase project of the new campus is also actively preparing.

Over the past 50 years, the college has trained nearly 10000 sports talents for the country, many of whom have become the backbone of the sports front. Now the first Department of sports training (Provincial Sports School) has become the "national high-level sports reserve talent base". In the course of more than 50 years, 17 people have won the world champion, 2 people have broken the world record, 20 people have won the Asian champion, 18 people have broken the Asian record, and nearly 400 people have won all kinds of national championships. In the 10th National Games, 74 students trained and transported by our college participated in the competition and won 5 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 3 bronze medals, making outstanding contributions to competitive sports in our province. In the Sixth City Games, our hospital won 6 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 3 bronze medals, which covered all the gold medals of our province in the "six City Games". In the Beijing Olympic Games, Deng Linlin, a five-year higher vocational student from the first Department of sports training (Provincial Sports School) and an athlete from the third Department of sports training, won the gold medal of women's gymnastics team by cooperating with her teammates. She realized her dream of winning the gold medal in the 24-year Olympic Games in Anhui Province. Xu Li, a member of the second Department of sports, was brave enough to enter the final, won the silver medal of women's free wrestling and won the Anhui wrestling event This is a historic breakthrough. At the same time, a group of graduates received systematic physical education theory and skills education in school, and were praised by employers after they entered the society. After being awarded the title of "national high-level sports reserve talent base" by the former State Sports Commission in 1997, the college was once again rated as "national high-level sports reserve talent base" by the State General Administration of sports in 2005, and was also rated as "national high-level sports reserve talent base" without inspection in 2008. In 2007, it was recognized as the "national handball Olympic reserve training base" from 2008 to 2011. The overall development scale has entered a steady, good and healthy high-speed situation.

According to the "Eleventh Five Year" development plan, the college steadily develops higher vocational college education, focuses on the development of higher vocational undergraduate education, moderately develops adult education, supports the development of primary and secondary education, vigorously develops vocational and technical training, actively co runs postgraduate training classes, and gradually establishes a multi-level school running system from primary school to university. By 2010, the college will have 15 majors and 8000 students at all levels. Strive to build the college into a sports college with moderate scale, excellent quality, reasonable structure, distinctive characteristics and outstanding advantages.
