Anhui Industrial Vocational and technical college is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college established with the approval of Anhui Provincial People's government. It mainly focuses on higher vocational education, integrates higher vocational education, adult education, skill training, and involves many disciplines such as engineering, economics, management, etc. The college is located in Tongling City, Anhui Province.

Tongling, founded in 1956, is located on the South Bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It is one of the birthplaces of the bronze civilization of the Chinese nation. Huangshan and Jiuhua mountains are close at hand. It is a typical Jiangnan landscape city. After 50 years of hard work, especially the spring breeze of reform and opening up in the past 20 years, Tongling City's per capita GDP, fiscal revenue, import and export trade, residents' income and other indicators have been firmly in the forefront of Anhui Province, and has become a bright pearl in Wanjiang region.

The college now covers an area of 443 mu, with a building area of 125500 square meters for teaching, administration and living, a library collection of 226800 books, 27 laboratories and 22 training bases. There are 237 full-time and part-time teachers in the college, including 58 associate professors and more, and more than 40% of them are "double qualified" teachers. The college has five departments, including information engineering department, mechanical and electrical engineering department, resource development department, management engineering department and foundation department. It has set up computer application technology, software technology, mechatronics technology, numerical control technology, automobile detection and maintenance technology, applied electronic technology, mold design and manufacturing, construction engineering technology, engineering measurement technology, accounting, logistics management and e-commerce And other 37 majors. There are more than 6300 students in the college.

The college has many teaching and research projects, such as "modular design and practice of electrical technology skills training in Higher Vocational Colleges", which have won the teaching achievement award of Anhui Province, 8 provincial teaching and research projects and 3 provincial key construction courses; more than 10 scientific research technologies have won national patents, and 8 application achievements have won the science and technology progress award of Anhui Province and Tongling City.

Relying on the advantages of higher vocational education, the college has established cooperative relations with Tongling Nonferrous Metals (Group) Co., Ltd., Baosteel Group, Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Anhui Conch Cement Co., Ltd., Changhe aircraft industry group, Nippon electric (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Volkswagen Group, Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd., etc According to the market demand, we should set up a professional plan and curriculum system, adhere to the principle of "industry oriented, ability oriented", and adhere to the principle of "double syllabus guidance, double teacher teaching, and double certificate employment" (college diploma and corresponding national vocational skill level certificate).

The college has successively obtained 8 series of education and training qualifications, including national high skilled talents training base, national vocational skills appraisal station, national Cambridge English training institution, Anhui professional and technical personnel continuing education base, Anhui Business Administration (middle and primary) training base, it certification (CEAC, Cisco Network College, Huawei network College). The annual training and appraisal scale reaches 5000 person times.
