Wuhu Information Technology Vocational College

Wuhu information technology vocational college is a state-owned public full-time ordinary university approved by Anhui Provincial People's government and put on record by the Ministry of education. Its predecessor was Wuhu Institute of education, which was founded in 1978. Wuhu information technology vocational college has a history of 30 years. After rapid development in recent years, it has become an ordinary higher vocational and technical college integrating academic education, vocational training, vocational skill appraisal and social service.

The college is Wuhu civilized model unit; Ministry of labor and social security and Ministry of information industry high skilled personnel training base; national vocational skills appraisal and examination center; national CET-4 and CET-6 English examination center; national computer grade examination center; international business training and examination center of Ministry of Commerce; software engineer training base for Japan; secondary vocational backbone teacher training base of Anhui Province.

The college is located on the Bank of the Yangtze River, Wuhu University Park with beautiful environment, complete facilities and strong style of study, covering an area of more than 600 mu. There are 9 teaching departments, including computer engineering department, software engineering department, electronic information department, management engineering department, economic and trade department, cultural communication department and foreign language department, with a total of more than 40 majors. Among them, computer application technology, applied electronic technology and international economy and trade are provincial education and teaching reform demonstration majors, with more than 8000 students. The college has 340 teaching staff and strong teaching force. It has a team of teachers with middle and senior professional titles, with both ability and political integrity, reasonable structure and high quality.

The college has advanced facilities and good teaching and training conditions. The college has a campus network system, multimedia teaching system, electronic reading system and ground satellite receiving station; there are 10 experimental training centers, including computer network, electronic technology and software development, under which there are computer composition and principle training room, Huawei 3Com network academy training room, programmable controller training room, embedded system training room and automotive electronics training room There are more than 70 experimental training rooms, including digital analog circuit training room, motor driving training room, property intelligent management training room, ERP training room and international trade training room.

The college also cooperates with Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University and East China Normal University to organize distance education and correspondence education for undergraduate and postgraduate education, and with famous universities in the province to carry out undergraduate to undergraduate education.
