Zhejiang Art Vocational College

Zhejiang Art Vocational College is the only state-run full-time comprehensive art college in Zhejiang Province. In December 1999, the people's Government of Zhejiang Province approved the merger of Zhejiang Art School and Zhejiang film school to prepare for the establishment of Zhejiang Art Vocational College; after that, the Zhejiang Art Research Institute was established and transferred to Zhejiang. In January 2002, the provincial government approved the formal establishment of the Institute.

The predecessor of Zhejiang Art Vocational College has a history of 50 years. As the predecessor of the college, Zhejiang art school has been rated as "national key art secondary school" by the Ministry of education and the Ministry of culture four times. The school has remarkable teaching achievements and distinctive teaching characteristics, and enjoys a high reputation among similar schools in the country. The college is located in Hangzhou Binjiang Higher Education Park, covering an area of 200 mu, with a construction area of 90000 square meters, complete facilities and equipment, and the hardware construction can be rated as first-class among the national art colleges. At present, there are six departments of drama, music, dance, fine arts, film and television technology and cultural management, three departments of basic teaching, teaching practice and adult education training, as well as affiliated technical secondary schools (Zhejiang Art School), library information center and Zhejiang Art Research Institute. There are 17 majors in drama performance, film and television performance, performing arts, music performance, music education, dance performance, art education, decorative art design, fashion design, animation design and production, art design, electronic audio-visual technology, film and television multimedia technology, cultural relics identification and restoration, cultural market operation and management, community management and service, among which drama, film and television performance is the most popular The comprehensive practice teaching base of art performance is the demonstration practice teaching construction base of provincial higher vocational education. In 2005, he jointly ran a school with Zhejiang Normal University and started an undergraduate course in art and design.
