Wuhan Vocational College of foreign languages and foreign affairs was established in 2002 with the approval of the people's Government of Hubei Province and put on record by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China.

The college is located in the middle of Luoyan Island Scenic Spot by the beautiful East Lake and at the foot of Moshan. It is adjacent to the Wuhan railway station under construction in the East, the vast East Lake in the west, the graceful Moshan in the South and the busy Friendship Avenue in the north. The college covers an area of about 480 mu, with a construction area of more than 300000 square meters. The passing rate of students' English proficiency test is in the forefront of similar colleges in Hubei Province, and the employment rate of graduates is more than 90%.

The college cooperates with colleges and universities in the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, the United States and other countries to run schools internationally. After three years of study in the college, the qualified students can apply to the cooperative colleges and universities in the above countries to further their undergraduate and master's degree.
