Yuncheng Nursing Vocational College

In 1970, Yuncheng district health school was established; in 2001, Yuncheng district health school was renamed Yuncheng health school; in 2002, Yuncheng health school was promoted to provincial and ministerial key technical secondary school; in 2003, Yuncheng health school and Yuncheng oral health school were merged into Yuncheng health school with the approval of the provincial government Yuncheng health school is the medical department of Yuncheng College of Shanxi Medical University, and yunchengkou school is the stomatology department of Yuncheng College of Shanxi Medical University. Both departments have implemented the dual track system of running colleges and technical secondary schools.

Yuncheng College of Shanxi Medical University and Yuncheng health school are all people owned health institutions approved by Shanxi Provincial People's government, sponsored by Yuncheng Municipal People's government and led by Yuncheng Municipal Health Bureau. They are fully funded by municipal finance. They are a comprehensive health professional college integrating teaching, medical treatment and scientific research.

The infrastructure and school cover an area of more than 400 mu, with a building area of 31414 and 09m2, including 12555 m2 of teaching building, 4400 m2 of experimental building, 8000 m2 of Affiliated Hospital, 5453 m2 of student apartment, 1449 m2 of auditorium and restaurant.

There are 6 school level leaders, 29 middle-level cadres, 304 teaching staff, including 40 senior professional titles, 57 intermediate professional titles, 103 full-time teachers and more than 3000 students.

There are 14 secondary medical specialties including doctors, nurses, traditional Chinese medicine, laboratory medicine, Stomatology, pharmacy, women and children, rehabilitation, medical treatment, family planning, acupuncture and massage, and two junior college specialties including clinical medicine and advanced nursing.

The honorary titles and schools have been successively awarded the titles of "civilized health school" and "excellent school" by the Provincial Department of health, and the honorary titles of "qualified technical secondary school", "advanced unit of Vocational and technical education", "advanced unit of moral education" and "advanced unit of technical secondary education" by the Provincial Education Commission.
