Karamay vocational and Technical College

Karamay vocational and technical college is a national general higher vocational college with engineering as the main subject and engineering and culture as well, which enrolls students from some provinces in China. Founded in 1956, the college is growing with the petroleum and petrochemical industry of the motherland and the western development. At present, more than 40000 high-quality skilled talents have been trained to serve China's petroleum and petrochemical industry and local economic construction. The college is the director unit of the board of directors of Xinjiang Petroleum and Petrochemical Vocational Education Park. Among them, five majors are petrochemical production technology, drilling technology, oil and gas exploitation technology, oil and gas storage and transportation technology, and chemical equipment maintenance technology, which are the key construction majors of national higher vocational education demonstration, including electrical automation technology, mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance and repair technology The two specialties of management are the national support specialty, and the four specialties of hotel management, automobile detection and maintenance technology, oil and gas geological exploration technology, machinery manufacturing and automation are the characteristic specialties of Higher Vocational Education in Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
