Longnan Teachers College

Longnan normal college is a public full-time normal college approved by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. It is located in Chengxian County, Gansu Province, known as "Longshang Jiangnan". The school was founded in 1937, formerly known as "Chengxian Normal School of Gansu Province"; in 2001, it merged with Lixian Normal School of Gansu Province and changed its name to "Longnan normal school"; in 2003, with the approval of the Ministry of education, it was transformed into Longnan normal college. In the 70 years of school running, the school has trained and transported more than 20000 primary and secondary school teachers and other kinds of talents for the society.

The school covers an area of 341 mu, with a construction area of more than 100000 square meters, fixed assets of 134 million yuan, total value of teaching equipment of 10.41 million yuan, collection of 362000 books and more than 700 Chinese and foreign periodicals. It has a well-equipped office building, teaching building, comprehensive science and technology building, library and standardized student apartment, student canteen, modern multimedia classroom, language room, laboratory, campus network, access to CERNET and Chinanet, equipped with two-way closed-circuit television teaching system and satellite remote education receiving system.

The school has 315 teaching staff. There are 243 full-time teachers, including 50 associate professors and 72 lecturers. There are 26 teachers with master's degree, 21 teachers studying for master's degree, 5 foreign teachers, 3 external professors and 33 visiting professors. At present, the school has 3407 full-time college students.

There are 14 functional departments, 2 scientific research institutions, 1 Affiliated Experimental School and 10 teaching departments. At present, there are 15 educational specialties, including Chinese education, English education, preschool education, ideological and political education, mathematics education, physics education, chemistry education, modern educational technology, biology education, history education, geography education, primary education, music education, art education and physical education, and 3 non educational specialties, including computer application technology, secretary and tourism management There are six adult education majors, including Chinese education, mathematics education, English education, music education, art education and primary education. It has set up the national computer grade examination center, the National College English "four, six" examination center, the Putonghua proficiency test station, and the correspondence teaching station of Shaanxi Normal University.
