PLA equipment College

The PLA Equipment Academy is a military academy subordinate to the general equipment department. It mainly cultivates equipment command technology and Aerospace Command Technology Talents for the whole army equipment system and aerospace field. The college is a key construction college of the 2110 project in the army. After more than 30 years of development and construction, it has formed a degree authorization system with military science as the main subject, military science and engineering, management science, economics, science and law as the six categories. It has a number of influential disciplines in the whole army and even the whole country. At present, there are 2 postdoctoral mobile stations, 3 first-class discipline doctoral programs, 1 second-class discipline doctoral program, 10 first-class discipline master programs, and 5 second-class discipline master programs. It has 1 national key (cultivation) discipline, 6 military key discipline professional fields, 4 general equipment department key disciplines, and 1 Beijing Key Discipline.

The college has a faculty with academicians and famous teachers as representatives, good political thought, strong teaching and research ability, reasonable structure and full of vitality. There are 1 academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, more than 40 doctoral supervisors and more than 150 master supervisors. Five were rated as national excellent teachers, 22 were rated as excellent teachers of the whole army, and 43 teachers enjoyed special government subsidies. With outstanding achievements in teaching and scientific research, the college has undertaken a large number of national and military key research projects, and has won more than 300 achievement awards, including national teaching achievement award, national special award for scientific and technological achievements, and national science and Technology Invention Award, and more than 80 national invention patents. It has two state key laboratories and two military key laboratories, a campus network with 10 Gigabit backbone bandwidth and a branch library of national digital library, and Journal of equipment college is the core journal of military science.

The headquarters of the college is located in Huairou District, Beijing, which is known as the "back garden of the capital".
