[plant morphology] Passiflora falcata

Perennial deciduous woody vines. The leaves are simple and alternate, the top of which is flat and truncated, shaped like a spatula, 3-6 cm long and 5-8 cm wide. The base is round or microcardiform, with 5 basal veins; the petiole has two glands on both sides, glabrous. There are axillary tendrils. Flowers green white, solitary or arranged in racemes, often axillary. Fruit globose, berrylike, 2-3 cm in diameter, green, fleshy.

It grows on hillside and roadside.
