[clinical application] treatment of scald

Use fresh Smilax leaf (not used for falling or dead), put it into the pot to dry, grind it into powder, sift it, and mix it with proper amount of sesame oil. Apply 2-3 times a day. 5 cases were treated, except 1 case was cured in 19 days due to infection, the other 4 cases were cured in 3-7 days without analgesic drugs. According to the treatment results of 9 cases, it was found that Smilax leaf paste not only had obvious analgesic effect, but also had strong astringent effect and could control infection. After 24 hours of drug application, the first degree wound redness subsided; after 48 hours of shallow second degree and deep wounds, the liquid in the blister gradually absorbed and dried, the blister epidermis wrinkled, and the new epithelium grew under the blister. In 9 cases, except 1 case with long healing time due to non debridement, the rest were cured within 7 days without scar.
