The fruit of Euphorbiaceae is dried.

The surface is brown to dark green, with pale yellow granular protuberance, wrinkled and inconspicuous 6-ridges, and fruit peduncle is about 1 mm. The mesocarp is 1-4mm thick, hard and crisp. The endocarp is yellowish white, hard nucleate, with 6 edges on the surface. There are several vascular bundles on the upper part of the dorsal suture, which can split into 6 petals after drying. Seeds 6, subtriangular, brown. The taste is sour and astringent.
