[source] it is the juice from the fresh fruit of Rosaceae cherry. See "cherry" for plant morphology.

[method] several jin of fresh cherries are put into the magnetic jar for sealing, and then buried in the soil, about 1 meter deep. After 7-10 days, the cherries in the jar have turned into water, that is, the stone is removed, and the clear juice is reserved.

[function indications] it can cure rash, frostbite and fire injury caused by soup.

[usage and dosage] oral administration: stew warm. External use: coating.

[clinical application] treating chilblain

Take a number of cherries (eight ripe) and put them into the porcelain jar. Then pour 75% alcohol into the jar. Cover and seal the jar by immersing cherries. Dig a hole in the shady area to bury the jar and take it out in winter. ① Mild chilblain (skin redness, itching, not ulceration): can use alcohol extract local smear, several times a day, can also take the soaked cherry (nuclear) meat paste or smear the affected area. ② Severe chilblain (skin ulceration or accompanied by infection): if the sore surface is small, it can be bandaged with cherry peel paste. If the sore surface is too large, several cherries can be put into a rolling bowl and mashed to apply the sore bread. Change it 1-2 times a day. If there is pus on the surface of the ulcer, alcohol should be used to wash the abscess before applying. More than 300 cases of mild chilblain were treated with the above method, which were generally cured within 3 days; more than 100 cases of severe chilblain were cured within 1 week.

Cherry water (cherry cold storage without alcohol) and cherry wine were compared in clinic. The results showed that the latter was better than the former. Cherry wine has no burning sensation after use, and can enhance the effect of heat, disinfection and sterilization.
