[plant morphology] Indigofera pilosula

Shrubs, up to 3 meters high, all yellow villous, pinnate compound leaves 10-20 cm long; leaflets 41-51, alternate, elliptic lanceolate, 25 mm long, densely hairy; stipules lanceolate. Racemes axillary, usually longer than leaves; flowers purplish red; calyx small, oblique, calyx teeth 5; corolla 8 mm long; stamens 10, bisomic; ovary sessile, style short, incurved. The pods are cylindrical, 3-4 cm long, densely pilose, with 5 seeds.

Wild in the mountains. It is distributed in Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi.
