Sun Zhigang, male, born in December 1971, Han nationality, member of the Communist Party of China, graduated from Jilin provincial Party school.

He is now the vice mayor of Baicheng Municipal People's government.

From December 2017 to January 2018, the central environmental protection supervision group completed the feedback to the inspectors of Jilin, Zhejiang, Shandong, Hainan, Sichuan, Tibet, Qinghai, Xinjiang (including the Corps) and other 8 provinces (regions), and simultaneously handed over the responsibility investigation of ecological environment damage. The situation is as follows: the water environment quality of Liaohe River Basin in Jilin Province has seriously deteriorated. The central environmental protection inspector found that the water quality of Liaohe River Basin in Jilin Province deteriorated seriously from 2013 to 2017, the proportion of class I - III sections continued to decline, and the proportion of inferior class V sections continued to rise. In the first half of 2017, 8 of the 9 national control sections were inferior to class V water quality. Liaoyuan, Siping, Gongzhuling and other municipal Party committees, governments and relevant departments do not pay enough attention to the prevention and control of Liaohe River pollution, which leads to the serious deterioration of water quality in Liaohe River Basin.
