[plant morphology] queer litmus is also known as mountain litmus.

Wood lichens. All light yellow green, up to 10 cm high. The stem is hollow, slightly hard and brittle. The upper part of the stem is densely branched and swells to spongy shape when it is wet. The lower part of the stem is decayed gradually when it connects with the sediment. Pollen apparatus massive, red, at the top of branches.

It grows in the grass on the shady slope of high mountains. Distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Sichuan, Yunnan, Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi and other places.

[prescription selection] ① for migraine, leucorrhea, dizziness and fatigue: two liang of taibaihua, stewed pig's feet or black chicken.

② Cure leucorrhea: four to five taels of Taibai flower are mixed into flour to make steamed buns, which are eaten in 3 to 4 days.

③ Treatment of hypertension, dizziness: taibaihua, zhulingcao, yangjiaoshen, xiaoyunjitou each five money, Prunella eight money. Fried in water with rock sugar.
